Yuppies Suck.

I hate yuppies and what is even worse are the want-to-be-yuppies. I saw two guys that I know Wednesday evening. They both had on suits and all dressed up. After a little conversation I found out they were not going to a play at the rep, or to any other special occasion where dressing is recommended, they were going to Grumpy’s! Ok so why were they so dressed up, because they wanted to blend in with the rest of the want-to-be yuppies. Yes let’s get dressed up in suits and go out to a bar so no one will guess they we were waiters! Why do you want to pretend that you are something that you are not. You are not rich, you do not wear suits to work every day, you are not financial guru’s, you both are waiters. What do you tell people you do when you go to Grumpy’s? That you are stock market analysts? Do you lie? That is ok that you do because probably most of the people in that place are just like you, lying about who they really are and what they do for a living.
